Kristin and Cory are some of the most fun people I've ever photographed. One of my favorite parts of the day was during the reception when Kristen (an amateur photographer) pulled out her SLR to take photos of her own guests.

Amy + Bhavesh: Engagement

When I first met Amy and Bhavesh I discovered they both shared a passion and love for wine (incidentally a passion I also share). So when it came time to pick a location for their engagement shoot the idea of a trip from Toronto down to Niagara-on-the-Lake seemed perfect.

We started in the old town of Niagara-on-the-Lake - it was early in the morning so we took advantage of the empty streets and parks.

After that we changed clothes and headed of to our next location.

With the help of the lovely Kristina Inman (Sommelier and Retail Manager) from Hillebrand Winery we were able to have special access to the cellars, vineyard and the rest of the grounds of their main winery just outside Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Review of Royal York

Brenda + Jamie’s Wedding

Carly and I had a great time shooting Brenda and Jamie's wedding. They choose a great church and a fabulous country inn for their reception and photo shoot.

We were lucky and the rain held out until the start of dinner, so we were able to capture some fabulous family and bridal party photos.

One of my favorite parts of the day must have been at 11pm when Carly, Brenda, Jamie and I ran out into the rain to take some fun photos in the forest.

Lauren + Tristan’s Wedding

Every year Carly and I do one giant Bridal show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Each year we have a draw for a free wedding photography package. This year’s winners were Lauren and Tristan and their wedding was this past Saturday.

They had a small intimate ceremony with family and friends in the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church had the most interesting pews I’ve ever seen, they had doors on them (I think they must be for locking troublesome children in during the church service). Tristan and Lauren were also extremely lucky to have such a beautiful day considering it was early April, the skies were clear and the sun was out and it was 17 degrees.

We also want to thank Tristan and Lauren's extended family for all their hospitality, it was a great way to kick-off our wedding season!

Tristan & Lauren, you guys we a ton of fun and we were so glad to be a part of your special day. Have fun on your honeymoon!

Amy + Jody’s Wedding

Both Amy and Jody seemed camera shy at first, but after a few frames their personalities come out and they light up every photo.

Their wonderful wedding was held at the cozy Centennial United Church in Stayner, followed by a fun filled reception in the great room of the Craigleith Ski Club in Collingwood.

Jody was a very lucky guy, not only was he able to marry the girl of his dreams this past Saturday but she also got 2 classic cars for him to drive - he was surprised with a 1960's Ford Thunderbird for his drive to the church and then on top of that a 1926 Ford Model A to go from the church to the photo shoot. The look on his face was priceless.

Jennifer + Ian’s Wedding

Jennifer and Ian are a couple who are defiantly in love. Out of 1000 photos I have probably 100 of them kissing, they were so happy on their special day. It was especially sweet to see how they included their 2 year old daughter Payton into the festivities; she was lots of fun and exceptionally cute.

I hope you guys love your photos, I loved making them and sharing your wonderful day with you.

Jasmin + Albert’s Wedding

St. Rose of Lima Parish is a beautiful choice for a wedding. The high ceiling filled with large windows cast a beautiful glow on Jasmine and Albert special day.
