The last event we covered at the Craigleith Ski Club was the wedding of Amy Coutts and Jody Bennett. This venue fit perfectly with their style. Other than the amazing couple we photographed here our favorite aspects of the venue was the beautiful dry stacked stone fireplace that was a huge fixture in the room and the amazing pine cathedral ceiling.

Centennial United Church

The first time we ever went to Stayner was also the first time we had the pleasure of visiting Centennial United Church. We were in the area covering the wedding of Amy Coutts and Jody Bennett. This church had that appealing charm that small churches in small communities always do. The ceremony put on by the local minister was sincere and heartfelt; you could tell they were close to the couple and that they really enjoying their job.

After the ceremony all the participants milled about outside the church, spilling into the street. A great time was had by all.

Amy + Jody’s Wedding

Both Amy and Jody seemed camera shy at first, but after a few frames their personalities come out and they light up every photo.

Their wonderful wedding was held at the cozy Centennial United Church in Stayner, followed by a fun filled reception in the great room of the Craigleith Ski Club in Collingwood.

Jody was a very lucky guy, not only was he able to marry the girl of his dreams this past Saturday but she also got 2 classic cars for him to drive - he was surprised with a 1960's Ford Thunderbird for his drive to the church and then on top of that a 1926 Ford Model A to go from the church to the photo shoot. The look on his face was priceless.

Amy + Jody’s Engagement Photo Shoot

This year has been very kind to our clients. Amy and Jody are now on the list of clients who's sessions were threatened by rain but stayed dry.

We had a blast with you guys, other than all the mosquitoes that were harassing only me (but I don't mind taking one for the team).
